Intuiting On Health Issues as Adjunct Support

One of the first metaphysical books I read when I was in my teens was “Edgar Cayce The Sleeping Prophet” by Jess Stearn. Cayce was known as a psychic channel who intuited accurate information primarily about emotional and physical health issues. His work spanned nearly a quarter of a century starting in the 1920’s.

I began wondering about when I started to have intuitive experiences and what the precipitating circumstances were ? Did something catastrophic or monumental occur?

You can do life review with any epic period in your life including times when you’ve had an instinct or intuition. Here is a simple mental exercise… Go back to times when you’ve known something without knowing how or why. Imagine your life and that time as an ongoing movie. You are on the couch holding the remote so you can stop, rewind and rerun parts of your life history movie any time you want. Take a closer look. Often you will notice new things and relevant details you’ve forgotten which bring deeper insights. It’s a fascinating mental process. What might have seemed insignificant in the past, takes on new meaning. Unbeknown to us are experiences that profoundly influence and start positively directing the course of our life.

Re-reading information about Edgar Cayce makes me realize I modeled the use of my psychic abilities in a fashion similar to his. There are many health related stories which I will share in the coming weeks including personal accounts where my intuition has been a saving grace! I want to reiterate that I only intuit about health issues to provide adjunct support. Had you asked me years ago if I would entertain health issues in the scope of the work I do, the answer would have been definitely and emphatically “NO”. I am not medically versed or medically oriented. But sometimes it’s not about what we want to do; it’s about what we are called upon to do.

… A woman asks about her friend.  She asks about his health. I close my eyes and see an image of my father. My father died seventeen years ago of a brain tumor. It was located in the brain stem. I note the image of my father and hold it to the side as I hear…

“This man has some disorder in his head. It is not psychological or emotional, it is physiological”. I share the vision of my father, and explain that the image of him came immediately after I asked for intuitive information about her friend. I waited to hear more before speaking and believe there is a connection between his circumstances and my father’s. I am frank and tell her that my dad died of a brain tumor. I do not know whether her friend actually has a brain tumor, but he does have disease in his brain that is life threatening… I open my eyes and ask if the information I have received is accurate.

The woman looks stunned. She pauses and tearfully shares that her friend has brain lesions, and she is frightened at the thought of loosing him. She doesn’t know how she can help him. She doesn’t know what to do…

We continue with the remainder of our session addressing her very legitimate fears. Facing the potential loss of a dear friend and feeling helpless in the face of such adversity, is like being zapped by a stun gun.  I listen quietly as she unloads the burden of her sorrows. We work together and generate a number of practical things she can propose to him to be of support. …

Awhile later she returns with a man. He is burly and seems reticent yet curious about having a reading. His eyes are obscured by sunglasses. It is odd not making eye contact. I see my eyes in his mirrored lenses.

“Where do you want to begin” I ask? I have no idea that the man sitting with me now,  is the man whom I’ve previously channeled information about; the man with brain lesions. “Whatever you get is fine” he says. “I guess you can tell me about my health”…

The first words I hear are “Balance, your balance is completely off. Every step you take requires huge effort; just putting one foot in front of the other is a major feat. It is amazing that you are able to accomplish all that you do. You deserve great applause”.

And then I realize who this man is! I open my eyes and ask if the information I have received is accurate. Blankly he confirms that it is. “Tell me how I can be of support” I ask him?

He speaks about the brain lesions that are at the base of his brain, in the brain stem…and tells me his he is having difficulty with balance.  The image of my father reappears. We discuss his medical options and the doctors that he is currently working with. More than anything I want him to feel confident; that his life is in the right set of doctor’s hands?

“Do you want me to intuit about things you can do to give your mind and body reprieve”? “Sure” he says. Again I close my eyes and speak what I hear…

“This man is a musician. He plays guitar and drums. Tell him to continue to make music, compose, orchestrate and play”. “Do you play music” I ask? “Yes, I am a musician. I am a drummer but I also play guitar. I want to get back to playing but I get headaches, so I have to figure out how to dampen the sound. I play in my garage and it’s too small and too loud in there. I have been thinking about getting in touch with some of my musician friends and playing at some of the old clubs”…

We talk more in depth about how to broach the friends he hasn’t seen in awhile. We discuss other activities he can do to keep his spirits lifted as he continues to confront and deal with his illness…

I am grateful to have met and worked with these two brave and beautiful friends. I hold them both in my prayers.
